WHAT MAKES A GOOD ENTRY?

Edit the message inside our free digital Mom Advice card with a memorable piece of advice from a mom in your life. It can be from any mom you know and the advice can be anything that has stayed with you. There are no wrong answers! We're looking for advice that is practical, life-changing, comforting, funny, or even something you hated at the time that turned out to be right.

Include the piece of advice, the first name of the mom, their relationship to you, and a short explanation about why you remember it or why she gave you that advice.

CONTEST TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Sponsor: Mom Advice Contest (the "Contest") is sponsored by Punchbowl, LLC, located at 50 Speen Street, Suite 202, Framingham, MA (the “Sponsor”). Sponsor is responsible for all aspects of the Contest. Participation in the Contest constitutes the participant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules, and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.

2. Eligibility: Contest is only open to participants who are legal residents of the United States, and who are 18+ years old at the time of entry (the “Entrant”). Employees of Sponsor, including its parent company, Sincere and its family of brands, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Contest. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law, rule, or regulation.

3. Contest Period: Entries will be accepted online starting on May 1, 2026 at 7:00 AM Pacific Time and ending May 10, 2026 at 11:50 Pacific Time (the “Entry Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible. Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device for the Contest.

4. How to Enter: To enter the Contest, you must either create a free account with Punchbowl or log into your existing Punchbowl account and submit your entry by personalizing and sending the designated “Mom Advice” digital card through the Punchbowl platform (available at www.punchbowl.com or on iOS and Android mobile apps). The card must be sent to contests@punchbowl.com in order to constitute a valid entry. No purchase, subscription, or trial is required to enter; the designated card will be available free of charge for purposes of this Contest.

Limit one (1) entry per person. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, accounts, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Sponsor.

5. Qualifying Submissions: Your submission (i.e., the content included in your personalized card) must comply with all Contest requirements, as specified in these Terms and Conditions, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete, not received at the designated email address, or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Submissions must not contain material that is obscene, offensive, illegal, or infringing on any third-party intellectual property. Sponsor may disqualify or remove any entry that violates these rules or is otherwise inappropriate, in its sole discretion.

6. Judging: Sponsor will have a panel of judges who will review all eligible submissions received during the Entry Period. Entries will be evaluated based on the following criteria: creativity, originality, emotional impact, and relevance to the applicable category. One (1) winner will be selected in each of the following five (5) categories: Most Practical, Most Life-Changing, Most Comforting, Funniest, and “You Hated It (But She Was Right).” From among all eligible entries, one (1) Grand Prize winner will also be selected based on overall excellence across the judging criteria. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, combine, or eliminate categories, or to add additional categories, if the number or quality of eligible entries in a given category warrants such action.

7. Winner Notification: Winners will be notified via email to the email address associated with their Contest submission. Sponsor shall have no liability for a winner's failure to receive notices due to winners' spam, junk email or other security settings or for a winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is found to be ineligible, fails to claim the prize within fifteen (15) days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. The receipt by a winner of the prize offered in this Contest is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY WINNER (AT SPONSOR'S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER'S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE CONTEST AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.

8. Prizes: Each of the five (5) category winners will receive a cash prize of $1,000 and one (1) grand prize winner will receive a cash prize of $5,000 (each a “Cash Prize”). Prizes are nontransferable. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others is permitted. Cash Prizes will be awarded in the form of a check or other method determined by Sponsor and will be paid within approximately 30-60 days following verification of eligibility and receipt of all required documentation. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner's name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. 

9. Taxes: Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099 to the winner for the total value of the Cash Prize, as required by law. As a condition of receiving the Cash Prize, the winner may be required to complete and return an IRS Form W-9 and any other documentation reasonably required by Sponsor.

10. Rights Granted by You: By entering this Contest, you grant Sponsor and its affiliates a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, and display your entry, in whole or in part, for promotional and marketing purposes in any media, without further notice or compensation, except where prohibited by law.

11. Sponsor Rights: Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest for any reason. In such a case, Sponsor may judge submissions from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. 

Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or website or violates these Terms & Conditions.

Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Contest, and to void entries for any reason, including, but not limited to; multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Contest rules; or the use of bots, macros or scripts or other technical means for entering. 

Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. 

12. Indemnification and Limitation of Liability: By entering you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such Entrant's participation in the Contest and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof, (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (v) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; or (vi) Entrant’s submission of any content, including claims of intellectual property infringement, defamation, or violation of privacy or publicity rights.

13. Disputes: THIS CONTEST IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES AND MASSACHUSETTS, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Contest, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in MA having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, other than participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Contest), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

15. Marketing Communications: By entering the Contest, Entrants agree that Sponsor may send them email communications relating to the Contest and periodic newsletters from Punchbowl. Entrants may opt out of receiving marketing communications any time by clicking the unsubscribe link contained in such emails. Contest entry is not conditional upon consenting to receive marketing communications.
