Working my way toward earning an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Development/Education, and also working on a Bachelor’s in Library Science and Media, I use my interests and talents to provide a unique service. As a future children’s librarian, Adam’s STAGE and myself provides a love for many things including: children and their minds, dance, books, creativity, preparing crafts or goody bags, and seeing children’s faces light up at seeing their favorite character come to life. The most rewarding times in my life have been when I’ve gotten to dress up and be silly with kids. I love making up little tunes and choreography, whimsical creations in costumes and crafts, and generally doing anything that makes people smile.
Some experiences include when I planned and produced very popular story-times for two malls in Denver; each event was filled with song, dance, and fun. I also planned the super-fun activities for the Summer Reading Program for a library in Corpus Christi, TX concluding in an amazing carnival. Most recently, I worked at the Children’s Museum of Denver and have volunteered to do themed story times at Second Star to the Right Children’s Bookstore. I’ve always made my own costumes and am constantly finding new ways to be creative. From the Easter Bunny, to a leprechaun, to a lovable story book character like the Cat in the Hat (& so many more)—it’s such a thrill seeing all the smiles I get when I’m dressed as these whimsical characters. As a certified CPR/First Aid provider with a clear background check, your children are always safe. Most importantly, we relate to kids on their level.
