Create a Potluck List for your BBQ

Punchbowl makes it easy to manage your online invitations, as well as keep track of who's bringing what to your party. Encourage guests to bring their favorite dish or drink with our Potluck Sign Up feature! Read on to learn how to add a potluck sign up to your online invitation.

To start, browse online BBQ invitations that can be sent to guests by email or text instantly. 

Once you customize your favorite invite with important event details, click "Save & Continue" then "Set Options" on the lower right hand side.

Next, scroll to the bottom and click "Add" to start your potluck!

Next, it's time to customize your potluck. For categories, select from Appetizer, Side Dish, Main Course, Dessert, Beverage, and Party Supplies – or add your own category! You can add must-have dishes you'd like guests to bring or allow guests to write in their own items.  

Want lots of baked beans at your BBQ? You can adjust the quantity of each dish and add a note for guests. Want Aunt Betty to bring her famous blueberry pie? You can assign specific guests to specific dishes!

Once your potluck is saved and you send out your invitation, guests will be able to see the potluck list after they respond "Yes" to your event. Then, they can easily sign up for whatever they'd like to bring by clicking "I'll bring this."
